VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE(VFD)

VFD is an electronic device used to control the speed, torque, and direction of an electric motor by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to the motor. It enhances motor efficiency, reduces energy consumption, and provides smooth acceleration and deceleration.

    Types of VFDs:

Low-Voltage VFD – Designed for smaller motors, typically used in cranes, hoists, and conveyors.

High-Voltage VFD – Used for large motors, providing efficient control for heavy-duty applications.

Flux Vector Control VFD – Offers precise control over speed and torque, ideal for demanding crane applications.

Regenerative VFD – Recaptures energy during braking, making it more energy-efficient for systems with frequent starts and stops.

    Application :
  • Cranes and Hoists
  • Conveyors
  • Pumps and Fans
  • HVAC Systems
  • Industrial Machinery

  • Customizable for different motor types, load conditions, and control requirements.
